Expect To See A Ton Of Heavy Rain In Michigan Soon
Reports are showing that things are gonna get really wet outside for an extended period of time and it seems like the lower peninsula of Michigan will get hit the hardest.
I really hope you didn't have any plans for outdoor activities unless it involves playing in the rain.
The largest, heaviest area of rain should move through Lower Michigan Friday, with the heaviest of rain hitting the southern half of Lower Michigan. The second wave of rain should come through Lower Michigan Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Sunday could have occasional showers draped across southeast Lower. Finally, the last in a series of rainy periods may move through Monday night and Tuesday.
The sad part is that we did plan an upcoming car show for this weekend and the weather isn't looking promising at all. So take the time to clean your gutters or just prep if your basement is prone to flooding because the rain is on the way.
The waves of rain are forecast to add up to between three and five inches of rain for southern Michigan and two to three inches for northern Michigan.
