Rainbow Appears During Moment of Silence for Aretha
During a moment of silence last night to honor Aretha Franklin, a rainbow appeared over Comerica Park.
The only way to describe this is Motown Magic.
The Queen of Soul passed away Thursday in her hometown of Detroit and the Detroit Tigers paid tribute with a moment of silence before last night's game against the Chicago Cubs. On the big screen, there was a picture of Franklin along with the words "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" and "Forever our Queen." The rainbow provided a magical backdrop.
(There's a video here if you'd like to see that.)
As a bonus for Tigers fans, Detroit topped Chicago, 2 to 1.
