Popular Downtown Grand Blanc Pizza Shop Gets New Owners
The Grand Blanc area is seeing a significant amount of growth in the last several months -- and will continue for many more to come. Think about the old Farmer Jack & KMart property, news businesses opening in the Grand Mall, development off Baldwin Road, the new mixed-use development/beer garden and McCalister's Deli in Downtown Grand Blanc.
Are any Grand Blanc Businesses selling?
- We recently reported one of Grand Blanc's oldest businesses, Grand Blanc Appliance, will be closing soon. They've sold to another local owner, though. (That story here.) Now, another Grand Blanc favorite is changing hands: Guido's Premium Pizza on Grand Blanc Road near Roly Poly. Owners announced the news, with thanks, to loyal customers over the years.
- Many commenters were understandably sad learning the news. Others hopeful recipes and quality would continue under new ownership.

Will Guido's Premium Pizza continue under the same name?
- Yes. As far as we know at this time, new ownership will continue operating the franchise. According to the franchise website, they're currently serving Metro Detroit, Grand Blanc, Oxford and as far north as Sault St Marie (many other cities in SE Michigan, too).
It sounds like there isn't anything to worry about for fans of "Da Boss" -- their version of Chicago Style Deep Dish or Detroit Style pies, too. We wish the new owners nothing but success in the next chapter of Guido's Premium Pizza in Grand Blanc.
