Did The Genesee County Restaurants You Love Make the Perfect List in January?

Each month Genesee County, MI's Health Department makes surprise visits to restaurants in the area.

For the first month of 2024 they were busy inspecting a total of 174 restaurants.

Of those restaurants, 90 had perfect inspections.

The most common reasons restaurants were not on the perfect came down to three common things:

• Dirty kitchens (hood vents, coolers, counters, floors, etc)
• Misusing, or not using at all, hand sinks.
• Mishandling of food (lack of gloves, stored below safe temperatures, not marked with dates, etc.)

Again, the restaurants below are PERFECT. Congratulations to each of them for operating at their best.
