Over 600 Flint kids walked away with bikes and other goodies that were donated.

Over 1,000 people came out for a family fun day called 'Flint Summer Bash' at the University of Michigan-Flint on July 7th. The event included inflatables, arts and crafts, food, and a summer reading program was launched through the event, too. Kids who complete their summer reading workbook and bring it to the Pack Your Back School Supply Distribution on August 31st will be entered to win prizes.

And of course, they handed out bottled water.

Donors from across the country provided bikes, tablets and scooters for the kids in attendance to help Flint kids keep busy this summer.

Incredible how everybody comes together for our city, isn't it?
