Changes are coming to Fox-66 (WSMH), as NBC-25 (WEYI) will begin producing its 10pm newscasts on April 27th. The station's newscasts are currently produced by staffers at Saginaw's WNEM TV-5.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, which has owned WSMH since 1996, announced its plan to purchase WEYI two years ago. Operations of the two stations will be consolidated at the company's Pierson Rd. location, and 18 staffers will be hired, according to a news release.
