Miss America Has Beauty, Brains, and Close Ties to Michigan [VIDEO]

The Newly-crowned Miss America, Nina Davuluri is not just a strikingly-beautiful young lady, she's also a University of Michigan graduate, earning a degree in cognitive science and brain behavior.

Davuluri and her family moved to Michigan when she was 10, and then she returned to her native Syracuse, New York after graduating. She plans to continue her education in hopes of becoming a doctor.
