Mid-Michigan Man Wins Top Prize in Mid-State Poker Tour Championship
Mark Rubenstein walked away with the top prize Sunday at the Mid-State Poker Tour Championship, hosted by FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek. The Owosso man finished first, grabbing $142,637.
Rubenstein's road to victory started with a $90 super satellite seat on April 10th. He ultimately beat out over 600 contestants, landing at the final table with nine other players, including MSPT-sponsored pros Nick Pupillo and Jason Zarlenga.
An exhausted Rubenstein told Poker News his dad was going to wake up to "a hell of a birthday present."
