Michigan Catholics – The Church Says Take Selfies & Tag Them With #Ashtag

The archdiocese of Detroit wants to boost Catholicism on social media and today is the day to do it.

Fat Tuesday is long gone, which signifies the start of the Lenten season for Catholics. We all stuffed ourselves full of paczkis and meat yesterday and today, we go to church and tell the big guy upstairs what we're giving up.

We're also supposed to get ashes on our forehead today. Basically, it's the one day of the year that you figure out who's Catholic and who's not.
