The MDHHA will continue with their mobile food pantry through August.

For those in need, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will continue to supply residents with food throughout the month of August. The mobile food pantry will distribute foods like ground beef and ground turkey, cheese, yellow squash, sweet corn, watermelon, bell peppers, and more.

The mobile food pantry will be set up at the following locations on the following dates:

  • Bethel United Methodist Church on Ballenger Highway
    • Monday, August 3rd at 10 am
    • Monday, August 10th at 10 am
    • Monday, August 17th at 10 am
    • Monday, August 24th at 10 am
    • Monday, August 31st at 10 am
  • Asbury United Methodist Church on Davison Road
    • Tuesday, August 4th at 10 am
    • Tuesday, August 11th at 10 am
    • Tuesday, August 18th at 10 am
    • Tuesday, August 25th at 10 am
  • Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church on N. Stephenson Street
    • Wednesday, August 5th at 11 am
    • Wednesday, August 12th at 11 am
    • Wednesday, August 19th at 11 am
    • Wednesday, August 26th at 11 am
  • Greater Holy Temple on N. Dort Highway
    • Thursday, August 6th at 10 am
    • Thursday, August 13th at 10 am
    • Thursday, August 20th at 10 am
    • Thursday, August 27th at 10 am
  • Luke's New Life Center on Lawndale Avenue
    • Friday, August 7th at 10 am
    • Friday, August 14th at 10 am
    • Friday, August 21st at 10 am

Residents in need can also pick up free food at three Flint Help Centers at the following times as well:

  • Bethel United Methodist Church - Mondays from 10 am until 2 pm
  • Asbury United Methodist Church - Tuesdays from 10 am until 2 pm
  • Greater Holy Temple - Thursdays from 10 am until 2 pm
