McLaren Helps Soldier Get Home for Birth of His Baby – The Good News [VIDEO]
Happy New Year to the Yelenik family!
Matthew Yelenik has been stationed in Afghanistan for the last four months. He was supposed to come home early in December, but a few things set those plans back - he ended up getting stuck in Kuwait. It wasn't just a matter of getting home for the holidays - it was a matter of getting home for the birth of his son.
His wife Breanna had been in labor since Friday, with no baby yet. Dr. Jason McMaster, who works at McLaren, made a few phone calls...and the military made it happen. Matthew was home for the birth of his son, Braxton, on January 1st at 12:12 AM.
Braxton was the first baby born at McLaren in 2018. Good news indeed! Happy New Year, everybody!
