It's the third year of what started as a spur-the-moment idea.

Back in 2018, Logan Henne of Grand Blanc decided to start up a last-minute lemonade stand to raise money for the Humane Society of Genesee County.

In his first year, he raised $250. Last year, he tripled his profits to $750 and, this year, he nearly doubled THAT number - he raised $1,320 for the HSGC.

(Lookout, Logan - our general manager may try to hire you as a salesperson!)

Yesterday, he stopped by the HSGC to donate the money as well as bags of food and other pet items.

Logan’s Lemonade donated a final total of 1,320$ to the Humane Society of Genesee County! We made sure we got a ton of kitty toys for the London Strong Foundation kitty room  and all the kitty food that PetSmarthad! A HUGE thank you to Tracey for the donations from PetSmart AND THE BIGGEST THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT THE 3rd annual Logan’s Lemonade!!!

To reach his goal this year, Logan received a large donation from the London Strong Foundation. Non-profits helping each other? Amazing.

Now I'm thinking back to MY lemonade stands as a kid, and the only reason I put the effort in was to make money to go spend at the mall. I wasn't at an age where I was thinking about how I could help others yet, and this kid already has the foresight to do so. Good kid!
