Actress Liz Sheridan, who had roles on the television shows "ALF" and "Seinfield" died at the age of 93 on Friday, April 15th, 2022. She died in her sleep of natural causes in New York City.

Early in her career she had several small roles on TV, having played parts on shows like "Kojak", "Archie Bunker's Place", "St. Elsewhere", "Newhart", "Moonlighting", "The A-Team", "Who's the Boss", "Hill St. Blues", "Cagney & Lacey", "Family Ties", and "Murder, She Wrote".

From 1986-1990, you might remember her work in the TV show "ALF". She played the nosey neighbor, Raquel Ochmonek. She appeared in 34 episodes of that NBC show.

After "ALF", Sheridan found herself playing the role of Helen Seinfield -- Jerry's mother -- on the TV show "Seinfield". She appeared in 21 episodes of that sitcom.

Prior to her acting career in Hollywood, she worked as a dancer in New York City nightclubs. It was there that she met James Dean. In her autobiography, "Dizzy & Jimmy: My Life with James Dean: A Love Story", she wrote of their time together in 1952. At one point the two even lived together. When Dean started to get film roles in Hollywood, the relationship came to an end.

Sheridan passed away just five days after her 93rd birthday. A few weeks earlier, on April 2nd, another actress from "Seinfield" died. Estelle Harris, who played George Costanza's mother on the TV show, passed away also at the age of 93.
