Little Boy With Cancer Gets To Be Grand Blanc Officer for a Day

The Grand Blanc Police Association got together and planned a special afternoon for Jonny Hendricks.

Jonny was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphocyctic Leukemia in 2013, when he was just 7-years-old. The community has rallied around him, and the Grand Blanc PD wanted to let him know that they've got his back, too. So they got together and organized a very cool experience for him.

On Saturday, Jonny became an "officer for a day." He got to talk on the radio and help to locate and arrest a "perpetrator" with the other officers. They even gave him a Nintendo 3DS to help him keep busy during his treatments.
