Injured Duck Receives New 3D Bill from Flint Company

If he could smile, he probably would. Who knows, maybe he is?

Blu is a duck that was in an accident several months ago - he lost part of his bill and tongue because of it. His caregiver, Rose, ended up having to tube-feed him daily. That's where a local Flint company called C3 Ventures comes in.

They describe their mission statement as "utilizing our experience and contacts to build job creation with sustainable and renewable energy operations for the people of Flint."

They scanned what was left of his Bill and, after several vet visits and multiple meetings, the company was able to 3D-print a replacement. Yes, he went in for a bill replacement.

And it looks like Blu is doing fine, thanks to C3 and the folks at Frankenmuth-Birch Run Veterinary Hospital! Quack quack indeed!
