Honey has been at the Humane Society of Genesee County since March. She was brought in as a stray and is approximately two years old. She's listed as a terrier/pitbull mix; she's about 52 pounds of love and has no bite history.

With that being said, she can be a bit mouthy when she plays, and MAN can she PLAY! The proof is in the video - a home with a fence might not be a bad idea. She has some jumping issues but she's also very obedient; she just needs somebody to take the time to work with her.

It's recommended that she go to a home without other dogs or cats and, if you have children, it's recommended that the kids be older.

Honey is spayed and microchipped and she's ready for her furrrever home! You can set up an appointment at the HSGC to meet her by calling 810-275-0436. Two people are allowed in at a time per appointment and masks ARE required.

After interacting with Honey for about 15 minutes, I can tell you that she's a GREAT dog who just needs the right person to work with her and take time with her.

For a list of ALL the animals at the Humane Society of Genesee County (did I mention that they have a LOT of guinea pigs right now?), you can click HERE and browse before your appointment.

A big thanks to Brough Bakery for sponsoring AJ's Animals and providing treats for the fur babies!
