The family is desperately searching for information on the driver of the car.
The accident happened last Wednesday, May 9th. 21-year-old Celena Payton was riding her bike with a 15-year-old friend on East Boulevard towards Dort when they were hit from behind by a car while it was raining. According to her stepdad, Rob Brockless, the driver didn't stop to help and fled the scene.
Celena was hospitalized in critical condition with fractured ribs, a punctured lung and a cut to her face.
Her family is looking for any information that they can get, as there were no witnesses. They've also set up a GoFundMe for her medical expenses, which you can donate to HERE.
