Grand Blanc Dresses Up Downtown Utility Boxes with Local Art
A great way for local artists to get their work out there and beautify the city.
There was just a story out of Kalamazoo about something like this -- the city is starting "graffiti gardens" where street artists can legally paint and/or draw on billboards made of plywood.
It looks like Grand Blanc has taken a cue from K-Zoo -- The Grand Blanc Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has brightened up the downtown area by allowing local artists to paint over utility boxes. Check out all of the names of the artists below Wonderful job, everybody! What a beautiful, simple way to make your mark on the city.
