The store has been providing for the community since the pandemic started.

Great Harvest Bread Co. in Grand Blanc is a local, family-owned business that has always given back to the community and, even in these uncertain times, they continue to be involved.

I can attest to this personally - I saw our friend Joy Martinbianco from the Salvation Army of Genesee County at Kroger last week and she was talking about how their volunteers are feeding the less fortunate during the pandemic, but now, they need meals for the volunteers. To quote Joy, "Even just bread to make sandwiches would be a huge help."

So, I messaged Great Harvest owner Scott Sassack and, within minutes, he committed to donating bread to the Salvation Army volunteers.

There's a GoFundMe to help sustain the volunteer work that Scott and his staff are doing, which you can donate to HERE.
