Flint’s ‘The Eberson’ Opens with an Event for Charity – The Good News
All of the ticket proceeds from last night's grand opening celebration went to the London Strong Foundation.
It's not very often that you see a business use their first day opening their doors to donate their earnings to a charitable organization, but that's exactly what The Eberson did in downtown Flint last night.
The brand-new "barcade" opened up next to The Capitol Theatre yesterday, serving up craft beers and cocktails alongside vintage video game favorites. The entrance fee was $20 and all proceeds went to London Strong, which provides AEDs to public places in Genesee County in memory of 10-year-old London Eisenbeis.
In fact, at the opening, an AED was donated to St. George Orthodox Church.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at The Eberson! Looking forward to having you as part of booming downtown Flint!
