Flint Photographer Becomes a 2017 Pulitzer Prize Finalist [PHOTO]
A great honor to a Flint photographer, for a heartbreaking reason.
The Pulitzer Prize is a coveted prize for any news professional, and Jake May, the Flint Journal's Chief Photojournalist, has been awarded a finalist spot for his work on the Flint Water Crisis.
According to the Piltizer Prize website, May's work was awarded finalist status:
For striking, wonderfully conceived photographs from Flint’s contaminated-water crisis that told a challenging story in human terms.
Congratulations, Jake! You can see Jake May's full Flint Water Crisis photo coverage here: Pulitzer Prize Finalist in Feature Photography -- Jake May
