See the tender moment that a Flint man gave his girlfriend's six year-old daughter a mini engagement ring and asked her to be his step-daughter at Bronner's over the weekend.

When Jeff, a 34 year-old Flint man proposed to his girlfriend Shana in front of friends and family at his 34th birthday party recently, it seemed like the next logical step in their two year relationship. Shana was presented with a beautiful engagement ring and she tearfully accepted.

Shana does have a six year-old daughter, Ally, and she and Jeff have become close. It was important to Shana and Jeff that Ally didn't feel left out, so during an annual trip to Bronner's in Frankenmuth over the weekend, Jeff asked Ally to be his step daughter while she sat on Santa's lap.

The happy little girl, who said yes, was then given her very own mini diamond engagement ring. Shana, the very happy bride to be snapped photos, which she then shared online.

Jeff, Shannon and Ally are looking forward to a March wedding at Crystal Mountain, here in Michigan. Ally is looking forward to being a junior bridesmaid and hopes to be a big sister soon.
