Edible Cookie Dough Cafe Opens in Flint, Already Had First Mask Incident
Un. Freaking. Believable.
I was so ridiculously excited for this place to open, and somebody spits all over it. Literally.
Let's talk about all the GOOD stuff first - the Flint-area has their very first edible cookie cafe. It's called We'redough (get it? Weirdo! I love it!) and if I wasn't trying to lose the quarantine 15, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
We'redough is located at 5349 Fenton Road. They had their grand opening on June 27th; their hours are 11 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm Saturday and 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
It's owned by Carman Ainsworth and Kettering alumni Jessica McGuire, who told MLive that baking with her grandma as a child inspired her to open We'redough.
They have all kinds of goodies, from hand-dipped ice cream to pastries to edible cookie dough made from heat-treated flour and pasteurized eggs. Pardon me while I daydream about it for a second...
..okay, I'm done.
Anyways, what should have been an exciting time of opening their new business was sidelined by a rude customer who didn't to adhere to their mask policy.
THE GUY SPIT ON THEIR FLOOR. Yes, really. Because people ruin everything.
And then, he had the audacity to leave them a bad review. Their response slays me: "Also, we don't even have cake." Sick burn. Love it.
If you know who this guy is and you receive $150 of their products, we'll gladly take some off your hands. Just let us know. We're not picky or anything.
