Drivers On I-69 in Flint Reported Rocks Being Thrown at Cars
The last time this happened was in 2017 when Kenneth White was killed.
Several Facebook users in the Flint area have posted today about an incident that occurred last night on eastbound I-69 near Center Road - teenagers were allegedly throwing rocks at passing cars, hitting a few of them.
Was driving down 69 heading East and some punk ass kid threw a huge rock and smoked my car. One of the only things I take pride in. Destroyed the hood and scratched the glass so deep I should get a new windshield as well.

We reached out to Myke today; he called the police after his car was hit and said that he dealt with Officer Kennedy, who was "very helpful." However, when we reached out to the Flint police department, Detective Sgt. Tyrone Booth said in an email that the department "did not receive any calls for service on that."
Back in 2017, five teenagers were arrested for throwing rocks off of an overpass on I-75, killing 32-year-old Kenneth White. The ringleader of the group and the oldest, Kyle Anger, plead guilty to second-degree murdeer and was sentenced to 3-20 years in prison, along with being ordered to pay $7,000 in restitution to White's family.
If your car was hit or you have information on what happened last night, please call the Flint Police Department at 810-237-6800.
