Don Cornelius, Host of ‘Soul Train’ Found Dead

Don Cornelius, who was the creator and longtime host of "Soul Train" was found dead this morning, apparently from a gunshot wound.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the wound appears to be self inflicted. Police arrived at Cornelius' home around 4 a.m. today. He was 75.

"Soul Train" aired for 35 years, and became the longest-running first-run nationally syndicated show in television history.
