The Tigers continue to stink it up on the road.  Their bats took another night off in losing 6-1 to the L.A. Dodgers.  Tiger batters could only manage 7 hits, and all of them were singles.  Max Scherzer was roughed up again, allowing 6 Dodger runs in six innings of work.

The Tigers are now 1-4 on the current road trip, and missed another opportunity to gain a share of first place as Cleveland also lost last night.  Even more troubling is the fact that Chicago and Minnesota both won again last night and are now both very much back in the race for the American League Central lead.

The Tigers will wrap up their National League road nightmare today with an afternoon contest against the Dodgers.  Rick Pocello will pitch for Detroit, looking for his 7th win of the season.  Ted Lilly gets the starting assinment for L.A., 3 pm first pitch.

The Tigers will enjoy an off day tomorrow before coming home to finish off Interleague play with series against the Diamondbacks, Mets and Giants.  They also have a make-up game with Toronto on June 27th to make this a 10-game home stand.  A long stretch of home cookin' is probably what this team needs about now.  A win today on the road would be good too.
