Delta Crews Have Pizza Party for Stranded Flights [PHOTO]

Is it weird that this is persuading me to fly Delta from now on?

Several flights were delayed and/or diverted on Tuesday because of heavy rains, so the pilots and the crew ordered pizzas for the passengers and had them delivered to the tarmac.

Delta was forced to delay over 600 flights and cancel more than 100 because of the weather. A spokesman for Delta says that the pizza is part of their standard protocol: to deliver food and beverages to passengers who are delayed.
