Cost of Stamps Going up This Weekend

If you have a lot of things to mail out in the near future, you might want to stock up on stamps before Sunday.

The USPS is raising the cost of forever stamps from 47 cents to 49 cents on Sunday (January 22nd). A forever stamp can be used to mail a one-ounce first class letter. The last increase for the US Postal Service was in January 2014. If you plan on stocking up on forever stamps this weekend, remember that once you purchase them the never expire. You can mail letters for as long as you have the stamps for the price you purchased them for.
