That's it. It's settled. Every workplace should have this. Local government employees in Las Cruces, New Mexico, can now "adopt" a cat for a day to keep at their desks from a local animal shelter.

The county's head of public relations tasked the Animal Care Center of Mesilla Valley drop off adoptable animals (most of whom have special needs) to the government offices during the day for employees to play with. The employees have started calling it the "cat library." A lot of the cats have ended up being adopted by employees.
