Missing Michigan Teen Found Safe in New Mexico [VIDEO]

Police believe that she may have been a victim of human trafficking.

17-year-old Rae'showna Jones, who has been missing from her Buena Vista Township home since December, was found at a Wal-Mart in New Mexico yesterday.

Police haven't released any further details, but they believe that she may have been a victim of human trafficking. She's detained in Rio Rancho, and is receiving medical attention.

Her mother is scheduled to fly out and pick her up tomorrow. She says that they'll be getting her he help she needs when they get back.

Michigan ranks #2 in the country for human sex trafficking, falling just behind Nevada. This is a real problem here and we can't just ignore it. Thank God this young lady was found safe!
