A beautiful, six-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home just hit the market in Bloomfield Hills. Its former owner is none other than the Queen of Soul, the late Aretha Franklin.

Interior designer Rodney Howell tells WDIV he brought in a lot of new furniture to stage the home but a lot of what you see is original. The appliances, for instance, are the ones Aretha used to cook.

Another original piece is a red piano. It was moved from Franklin's Detroit home and it's the centerpiece of this $1.2 million dollar home.

Howell says Franklin's bedroom with attached master bathroom is fit for a queen.

"Everything here in the bathroom is original," Howell said. "Of course, this is the tub that the queen bathed in, as well as the shower -- you see the roses that are on the glass here."

The 4,200 square foot home is located in a gated community in Bloomfield Hills. Take a look at more pictures of the home here.
