Aretha Franklin’s Dresses are Headed to Auction
Aretha Franklin passed away in Detroit on August 16th at the age of 76. Now more than 30 dresses and accessories worn on stage by the Queen of Soul are headed to auction.
Julien's Auctions in California has the more than 30 pieces that will be auctioned off at Hard Rock Cafe in New York on October 10th. You can bid on items either in person or online here.
Included in the auction items will be the red sequined dress Aretha Franklin wore at Radio City Music Hall in 1991, a jacket she wore with Bill Clinton, a denim jacked given to crew members of Blues Brothers, and more.
If you are interested in an auction item, they will be on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York on October 8th and 9th before the auction begins on the 10th.
