RIP, Rip. We think he would've liked that pun.

The legendary confetti-tossing actor and comedian Rip Taylor has passed away at the age of 84, according to his publicist.

He suffered a seizure last week and was hospitalized in Los Angeles.

Before going into the entertainment business, he served in the Korean War. His use of props, confetti and wacky costumes made him an audience favorite on shows like the Gong Show.

He was nicknamed the "Prince of Pandemonium" and lent his voice to animated films such as Duck Tales and Scooby Doo. He was also the voice of Uncle Fester in The Addams Family animated series.

He also famously made appearances in several of the Jackass movies.

He's survived by his partner, Robert Fortney. Thanks for the laughs, Rip.
