			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The USDA has released its annual <a href="http://www.cnpp.usda.gov/ExpendituresonChildrenbyFamilies.htm" target="_blank">Expenditures on Children by Families</a> report, and it comes as no surprise that the cost of raising a child has increased by 2% in the last year.  The figures are based on the costs of necessities like food, shelter, and clothing for a child born in 2010, reaching the age of 18.  Categories such as transportation, health care and education saw the biggest increases.</p>
