I've never had a desire to bungee jump and this is another reason why I don't want to try it. A woman from Australia went bungee jumping in South Africa, but her cord snapped causing her to fall into crocodile infested waters. A day after Justin Bieber‘s mom Pattie Mallette tweeted that her parents were involved in a car crash in their native Canada, the Ontario police have confirmed today (Dec. 29) that The Biebs’ grandparents are doing just fine after the fact. Whew! That has to be a load off The Biebs’ mind.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is recommending that states ban the use of cell phones and other portable electronic devices while driving. The five-member board agreed to the recommendation unanimously today, and hopes that states will adopt legislation banning both hands-free and handheld phones and devices.

A group of bounce houses became a house of horrors over the weekend on a soccer field in Long Island. Strong winds propelled three of the houses into the air Saturday at the Oceanside United Soccer Club, injuring 13 people, including some children who were inside the playhouses.
