ERIN
I've had the pleasure of working at Cars 108 for eight months and so far it's going really well. Prior to this, I worked at a radio station in Port Huron and in Elko, Nevada. I'm originally from Grosse Pointe so I'm still fairly new to the area.   Before radio I had a career in event planning and development for non-profit organizations and decided I needed a change. I checked out Specs Howard School of Media Arts and really liked it,  so I went back to school and graduated in September, 2006 and moved to Nevada.   I love meeting our listeners and it's great to be able to work with wonderful people. Join us weekday mornings starting at 5!

How young is too young for make-up? One mom is getting some heat for letting her four-year-old daughter wear make-up after becoming fascinated with cosmetics after watching mom apply make-up when she goes out.

The mom wrote a blog and others lashed out at her for letting her daughter wear make-up. She wears lipstick, blush and sometimes mascara. Lindsay Cross says it's become a ritual for her and her daughter to put on make-up together. Should a four-year-old wear make-up?

Should Kids Get Cash For Good Grades? [Video/Poll]

I was watching this segment on the "Today Show" the other day and a professor was talking about paying kids for good grades. He gave the example of someone running a school where kids come from tough backgrounds and they aren't reading or motivated.

He said let's say administrators decided to give cash incentives for good grades. The idea was to pay $2 every time a child read a book and he used third graders as an example. Is this is a good idea? Should schools pay kids for good grades? Check out the video and take the poll after the jump.

Do Telemarketers Drive You Crazy? [Poll]

How annoying do you find telemarketers to be? It seemed like when they first started calling it was earlier in the day and now they tend to still call you after 9pm. I only use my cell phone but I'm constantly getting harassed, even though I signed up on the do not call list.

According to a recent study, telemarketer complaints were up 600,000 last year. The study found that some companies will still call you even if you're on the do not call list. If you're like me, do telemarketers drive you crazy? Take the poll after the jump.

This is not the case for one school in Canada. They are not pleased with the 'Yertle the Turtle' story because officials think there's a political message behind it. Now the school has banned the book as a result.

I'm pretty jealous of this Virginia woman who won $1 million in the lottery twice in one day. What are the odds of winning once, much less twice in the same day? Virginia Pike says she was shocked to find out she won twice and loves playing the lottery.
