This Saturday, June 29th, Factory Two in Flint on Grand Traverse Street is having a make-and-take workshop for your own bee house.

Yes, a bee house.

We just got one for our porch and the concept is super cool - it provides bees with an artificial nesting site. The bees lay their eggs in the little holes and you store the house in your garage until spring, when they're ready to hatch.

In case you haven't been paying attention, seven species of bees in the United States have been added to the endangered species list, so it's important to help wherever we can.
