Through the years, many TV shows have come and gone, but a lot of them went before their time.  What's really frustrating is when you invest time in a TV series that gets cancelled before the story is complete.

My wife and I were beyond mad when ABC cancelled 'Flash Forward' and 'V' because both shows had a storyline that sucked you in and left you yearning for what happens next.  'Flash Forward' was a novel that was made into a series, so die-hard fans can read the book to see how it came to a close.  But like many books that became movies or TV shows, the two outlets share only a title and general idea and don't typically match up.

'V' was a reboot of an 80s TV show in which aliens invade Earth.  At the end of season two, we see a fleet of alien ships orbiting Earth teasing the impending invasion... and that was it.  Did they take over?  Did humans survive?  No one knows.

Another one of my favorite shows of all time was 'Titus', based on the real dysfunctional family life of comedian Christopher Titus.  Airing back-to-back with 'That 70s Show', my Tuesday nights in the early 2000s were spent glued to the TV with many of my good friends.  Our sides hurt at the end of each night.  Now that I found old episodes of 'Titus' on YouTube, I am reliving my 20s watching Titus deal with his well-intentioned, but alcoholic father Ken with my wife.

What TV shows do you wish had a longer run?  What shows ran much longer than they should have?
