Big thanks to Kevin from The Machine Shop for being on the show with us this morning!

It's safe to say that one of the industries that have been hurt the most by the pandemic is live performance venues, and Flint is no different.

The Machine Shop on Dort Highway has been a staple of the area since 2002, hosting artists like Uncle Kracker, Saving Abel, Three Days Grace, Kid Rock, and more. However, since the coronavirus pandemic, concert venues all over the world have shut down and tours have been canceled, leaving many small business owners and their employees in a tough spot.

We spoke to Kevin, the owner of The Machine Shop, on the show this morning.

If you're interested in the Daughtry: Live from Home show this Sunday, August 30th at 7 PM ET, you can get tickets HERE.

Regular tickets to stream the show are only $10; you can also purchase a virtual meet-and-greet and a Q&A session that includes a one-on-one video chat for $75.00. A portion of all the ticket sales will go directly back to The Machine Shop.

This is a SUPER cool way to bring in some revenue for a fantastic Flint business AND get some one-on-one time with Chris Daughtry. Let's all do what we can right now to support our local concert venues and their employees!

Thanks again to Kevin for taking the time with us this morning and we look forward to the show this Sunday evening!
