Verizon Cuts Rates for Data, but Not Automatically for Existing Customers
Millions of Verizon Wireless customers will now be able to pay less for their data plans, but there's a catch. Big Red won't just automatically lower your bill.
Verizon says it's lowering the price of most of its shared data plans by $10. Its least-expensive plan now starts at $30 per month. Maybe Sprint's ploy to woo customers is having an impact?

- – 2GB – Now $40 – From $50
- – 3GB – Now $50 – From $60
- – 4GB – Now $60 – From $70
- – 6GB – Now $70 – From $80
- – 8GB – Now $85 – From $90
- – 10GB – Unchanged at $100
- – 12GB – Now $110 – New Option
- – 14GB – Now $120 – New Option
- – 16GB – Now $130 – New Option
- – 20GB – Now $140 – From $150
