University of Michigan: Free Tuition For Some In-State Students
It's called the "Go Blue Guarantee," and it might apply to you.
Starting in January 2018, in-state students whose families make $65,000 or less per year will be eligible for free tuition. That goes for current students as well. Overall, that's worth about $60,000.
According to U-M officials, this will benefit about half of the families in the entire state. Students who receive assistance will still qualify for financial aid to help with housing costs.
How do you feel about this? Will this persuade you or your kids to go to U of M?
