TV Reporter Gets Confession From Fleeing Criminal, Then Gets Carjacked [VIDEO]
Australia's 7News reporter Peter Steer was on his way to cover a robbery when a man with a motorcycle on the side of the road flagged him down. It turns out it was the man who committed the crime.
On camera, he confessed to the crime and began to weep as he asked the reporter to call the police so he could turn himself in. After waiting for nearly a half-hour with no sign of the authorities, Steer called a second time.
After that, the criminal's change of heart changed back as he decided to carjack the 7News truck and take off. Police arrived and picked up the news crew and began to pursue the fleeing man. They catch up to him at a gas station after he had crashed the news truck into a gas tank. Watch the entire ordeal in the video.
