Too Cute – A Patriotic Michigan Marriage Proposal [VIDEO]

The couple is currently living in St. Louis, but they plan to get married in Mid-Michigan.

Jeffry Harrison handed his phone to another fireworks spectator this past Saturday on the banks of the Saginaw River in Bay City, and asked them to capture the moment.

He dropped down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Kelly Jezierski. She later said that it was "amazing" and the most "special night" she could ask for.

Jeffry even flew in from St. Louis earlier to ask for Kelly's dad's blessing! He said it was hard to keep the secret, but he managed to pull off the proposal on the fourth of July with family surrounding them.

I really like this, even more than the big, overdone YouTube proposals. It was personal, and it was sweet. Congratulations, you two crazy kids! Adorable.
