The Good News: Teen Boy Helps Little Girl Skateboard, Mom’s Letter Goes Viral [PHOTOS]

A mother from Ontario learned a great lesson in stereotypes with her young daughter.

Jeanean Thomas took her 8-year-old daughter to a skate park in their hometown of Cambridge, Ontario. She's been wanting to try skateboarding for a long time, and had just mustered up the courage to try it. Obviously, the mom was hesitant to take her to a skate park. But the end result surprised her.

I know it sounds cliche, but we should never judge a book by its cover. What a lovely story.
