Restaurant owner George Dimopolous said, "I was young, didn’t have much food and someone gave it to me and I was appreciative of it and I remember those people."

He's been feeding lone diners on Thanksgiving for ten years now, and even though he doesn't break the bank on this one day every year, he says that's okay.

“Maybe I don’t make money but I feel happy to do that. I do this every year and I will keep doing this as long as I live,” says George.

The restaurant, George's Senate Coney Island in Northville, is open on Thanksgiving from 6:30 AM until 9 PM. Solo diners can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the house.
