Could Josh from ‘Josh and Jase’ Actually Move to Michigan?
Josh Cauldwell-Clarke and Jason Riley, better known as Josh and Jase, have been making local headlines since they discovered Michigan and apparently decided they really, really like it here.
Josh and Jase Have Fallen in Love With Michigan
The British duo has been blowing up social media with posts and videos from all over the Great Lakes State, including Frankenmuth, Owosso and Novi. Their love for Michigan has been pretty obvious, and honestly, it has been fun watching them discover places that many of us here in Mid Michigan know and love.

But their Michigan adventure has not been completely smooth. Earlier this year, we reported that Josh was hospitalized after suffering a back injury during their winter visit. He later said he was notified that hospital employees had accessed his medical records without a work related reason. He also said staff members had approached him for selfies while he was heavily medicated and in pain. The hospital involved was not publicly identified.
Josh and Jase Return For Summer Fun in Michigan
Despite that experience, Josh and Jase came back to Michigan this summer. They spent weeks traveling around the state, meeting fans and checking out even more Michigan attractions. They made several stops in Frankenmuth including Bronner's and Zehnder's. You can watch the video of that stop below.
And now, it sounds like Michigan may have left an even bigger impression. Josh recently told his followers that he and his partner have started seriously discussing the possibility of moving to America someday.
Josh Is Considering a Move to America
He said the more time he spends here, the more he falls in love with America and understands why so many people are proud to call the country home. He also thanked the people who have welcomed him and his family, saying America has slowly become somewhere that feels very special to them.
Nothing is decided, but Josh said on Facebook,
For the first time, moving to America genuinely feels like something he and his family could see themselves doing in the future.
And then he asked his followers a pretty important question.
If you could choose one state for a British family to call home, where are you sending them?
Well, Josh, I think I know where a whole lot of people in Michigan are going to tell you to go. Come on back to Michigan. We've got plenty more to show you.
