Teacher Campaigns to Ban Gay and Lesbian Students From Prom

A small group of parents, students and one teacher are lobbying to ban gay and lesbian students at Sullivan (Indiana) High School from attending prom.

Diana Medley, a Special Education teacher who believes homosexuality is a choice, is leading the charge.

"We don't agree with it and it's offensive to us."

She says several students are in favor of creating a "traditional prom" free of gay and lesbian students, but have been afraid to speak up.

Of course many people disagree with the teacher. Jim Davis, a Christian believer in the area, is one of them.

"We shouldn't be condemning people, and that's what judgement is. Christ came to save the people not to condemn them."
