Son Disowned And Beaten By Parents For ‘Choosing’ To Be Gay [VIDEO-NSFW]

It's heartbreaking when the people you trust turn their back on you, especially when that person is your parent.  A family in Georgia confronted their gay son, disowned him, then verbally and physically abused him.

It was all caught on video, and that video has already racked up two-million hits in just two days.  I have met many over the year who are gay.  Sometimes it's not exactly obvious, and in other cases it is.  Regardless, I treat them with the same respect as I do with my straight friends.  Despite what some people may think, being gay is not a choice.  That is a scientifically proven fact.  That would be like saying that my black friends chose to be black.  It just doesn't make sense.

I believe in God, and regardless of what the Bible says about homosexuality, it's God's job to judge, not ours.  "Treat others as you want to be treated."  We've all heard that when we were kids.  So... when did we forget it?
