It's been a long time coming. about 28 years to be exact. Copper Peak Ski Jump in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is set to reopen as one of the largest in the world.
While much of Michigan got some measurable snowfall Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, it wasn't quite enough to open your favorite ski slope.
The good news is that the colder temperatures that followed the snowstorm will allow Michigan ski resorts to make their own snow.
