107-year-old Lou Batori, a well-known skier in Northern Michigan, has passed away.

He was well-known at Crystal Mountain as being the only patron who had a reserved parking spot. He's believed to be the oldest active skier in the entire world.

Not only that, but everybody who knew him said that he was kind and "made time for everybody."

Lou was born in 1910 in Hungary and came to the United States to study at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He retired in Northern Michigan in the early 1970s and made skiing his hobby.

Rest in peace, Lou. Thank you for being an inspiration to people of all ages.
